Introduction

United Business Park (UBP) SEZ is committed to providing reliable and uninterrupted gas supply to its industrial consumers through a well-developed internal gas infrastructure system. This initiative is aligned with the vision of creating a seamless industrial environment and supporting the One Window Facilitation Center concept.

The management has established a structured gas distribution system within the SEZ to ensure efficient energy availability for industrial operations. All gas-related policies, procedures, and supply mechanisms are designed in accordance with approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities, including Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority.

The gas supply system has been developed to ensure smooth, transparent, and efficient delivery of energy to industrial units, enabling businesses to operate without interruption.

Gas Connection & Agreements

UBP SEZ provides standardized documentation and agreements for gas connections and supply, including:

• New Gas Connection Agreement
• Gas Supply Agreement with Consumers
• RLNG New Connection Form
• Gas Distribution & Sales License Certificate
• Customer Registration & Processing Documents

These documents are approved by relevant regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and transparency.

Capacity Allocation

Gas allocation for industrial zones is coordinated with the Ministry of Energy and supported by distribution companies such as Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.

Allocated Capacity Overview

• Zone A (Industrial Block 1) – 65 MMCFD allocated (Infrastructure fully completed)
• Zone B (Industrial Block 2) – 10 MMCFD allocated (Infrastructure fully completed)
• Zone C (Future Expansion Zone) – 20 MMCFD allocated (Internal infrastructure completed, external work in progress)

Available Capacity

• A portion of the allocated gas capacity has already been distributed to operational industrial units.
• Remaining capacity is reserved for upcoming investors and future industrial expansion.
• Additional allocations may be facilitated under applicable regulatory frameworks and third-party access rules.

RLNG Tariff

Gas tariffs are applied as per the rates approved and issued monthly by the relevant authority:
